LifeRaft Biosciences

Rescuing Cells.
Restoring Lives.

LifeRaft Biosciences is advancing Vepoloxamer, an investigational therapeutic targeting cell membrane damage, which is a key driver of death and disability across multiple high-value indications.

Vepoloxamer has been clinically tested, including in two Phase 3 trials, and was generally well tolerated in the 388-patient EPIC study. Starting with Radiation-Induced Severe Oral Mucositis for patients undergoing radiation therapy for head and neck cancer, a >$1B market with significant unmet need, the company has a clear and capital-efficient path to proof of concept.

Our Pipeline

A lead program in Radiation Induced Severe Oral Mucositis (RI-SOM) for patients being treated with radiation therapy for head and neck cancer, and a preclinical program in acute burns.

One Molecule. Many Opportunities.

The same membrane-sealing mechanism being studied to protect oral mucosa from radiation injury may apply wherever cell-membrane damage drives disease — across oncology supportive care, trauma, and stroke.

Vepoloxamer is an investigational drug and has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use.
